Volunteer recruitment

We’re always looking out for new volunteers at the RAF Ingham Heritage centre.

Our Volunteer Co-ordinator, Karen, was at a Volunteer Event run by Community and Voluntary Partnership in the Moorland Community Centre, Lincoln on Monday 2 June.

The event was well attended by the public and other voluntary organisations with lots of interest shown in our Heritage Centre.

If you’d like to know more about volunteering, you find more about the opportunities we can offer and how to apply on our ‘Volunteering’ page.

The Polish pilot's 80th Anniversary commemmoration route

We were honoured to host a group of 15 Polish pilots who were flying this route from Warszawa, to honour the memory of Polish pilots who served during the war. The flight commemorates the end of the war, The Battle of Britain and the 80th anniversary of the Polish pilots association. They came to see the centre, talked with volunteers on site, and respectfully laid a wreath they had brought from Poland. The centre was presented with a beautiful plaque to commemorate this joyous occasion. We wish them ‘’Wysokości’ on their inward journey.
